Sophia Jurksztowicz has joined the Scotiabank Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer team!

A Toronto native, Sophia Jurksztowicz graduated from Ryerson and began a series of internships at various Toronto radio stations, including AM640, and it was there, while working on Leafs Lunch, that she was able to get a foothold into the world of pro sports. From there, Sophia landed a job as a field reporter and host at The Score Television Network. When that station was purchased by Rogers Sportsnet, Sophia began at CITY-TV as their sports anchor. Her field reporting, athlete interviews and hosting highlight shows broadened her experience in the sports industry, and in 2015, she landed a position with Sportsnet’s NHL department. She was also featured on Rogers NHL Game Centre Live and has been involved in the NHL All-Star Weekend, NHL Entry Draft, Hockey Night in Canada and the Stanley Cup playoffs.
