Thank you for visiting the Heather's Heros Team Page.
Just over 2 years ago, Heather Kurtin, mother of 2, a loving wife, aunt, sister, daughter and friend was diagnosed with Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma, an extremely rare form of gynaecological cancer. This cancer is extremely aggressive and has no long term solutions. Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma does not react to radiation or chemotherapy.
Heather has gone through multiple aggressive surgeries loosing multiple organs in the process. The aggressive and invasive surgery is the only short term solution the doctors have now as this is such a rare form.
Help us raise money to go to research new ways to help to fight Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma. By donating you are giving hope to our hero, Heather, who has stood up and fought through this battle. Heather continues to be strong and fight. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in her honour.
