Our Story
Hey Family and Friends,
This year, our family lost someone very special and important to us who we will remember forever as one of the best people we knew. On January 30th, to some on the team our Nonno and to others our father or father in law, Tommy Longo, passed away after a tough battle with Leukemia. This news rocked our family, and not a day goes by where we don't think about him or miss him. There is not enough thanks in the world that could go out to all of you who stood by us and supported us through that very difficult time, we all appreciated it so much. Our Nonno (Father) was a great man who was very kind, treated every one with great respect and who we all loved very much. Seeing him go was the toughest thing many of us have ever gone through in our lives and we want to thank everyone who was there for us.
Normally we will all split up for a hockey game against each other that normally gets heated and occasionally ends with some crying (or lost teeth). We are all now teaming up to fight the toughest opponent we could ever face, Cancer. Please help us in this battle by donating to our team, Team Tommy. Our team goal is to raise $50,000.00, which we believe is very achievable. This tournament is for a great cause which has touched all of us in the past year and any donation you could provide to us will be very appreciated. Everyone in their life has been hurt due to the news of cancer, please team up with us so we can battle back against Cancer!
