My Story
Hello,
This October I will be participating in the first annual Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer benefiting The Princes Margaret. It is a one day, dawn to dusk marathon hockey tournament that will take place at Ontario Place.
As is the case with many of your families, my life has also been touched by cancer. My father battled cancer for years before it finally took him in the prime of his life. There will be over 173,800 estimated new cases of cancer in Canada this year alone. 76,200 of these cases will result in deaths - it's time to take a stand against this devastating disease.
With the generous support and donations from my friends and family I intend on reaching my goal amount so I can truly help make a difference in the fight against cancer! My personal fundraising goal for this event is $5000. If you can help me to reach this goal in any way possible, please do so.
