The RHCC Draft...
Similar to the NHL Entry Draft, your team has the opportunity to draft a celebrity onto your Road Hockey team as an honourary coach (who just may wish to pick up a stick and take a few shifts!).
How It Works...
There will be a pool of celebrities who will be eligible to be drafted onto teams. A few days prior to October 1st (exact date TBD), top fundraising teams will have the opportunity to draft the celebrity of their choice in the order of their fundraising accomplishments. For example, the team that has raised the most fundraising dollars gets to choose first, second-most chooses second, and so on. There will be at least 30 celebs in the draft pool, so make sure you keep checking the RHCC website to see who is available on Draft Day.
Keep track of the top fundraising teams and individuals on the RHCC Homepage in the right-hand navigation bar. Only these top fundraising teams get to select a celebrity to their team. Don't miss out - aim to be one of those top teams!
Wild Card Draw...
There will also be a Wild Card draw. For every team that raises $15,000 or more (and are not eligible for the original Draft), they will be put into a draw to have a celebrity coach join their team. There will be a total of 10 team names drawn. For every team that is drawn in numerical order, there will be a corresponding celebrity with the same predetermined number (i.e. First team name drawn gets 'Celebrity #1", Second - Celebrity #2 and so on). So, make sure you work with your team to reach that $15,000 amount!
