GM Program

Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer’s General Manager (GM) Program

Last year’s event was a great success! Thanks to the fantastic efforts of all our Teams and Players, we raised $2.4 Million for cancer research and therapies at The Princess Margaret - But in 2012 we’re aiming to shoot even higher! We at the Road Hockey Office, feel that 2012 has all the potential to be even bigger and better than last year. In order to make this happen we have implemented a new General Manager (GM)Program.

This program allows ROAD HOCKEY TO CONQUER CANCER Teams to designate one General Manager to lend support in everything from team building and recruitment, to and fundraising and team training. General Managers will be a “non-roster” teammate who will drive forward all key aspects of RHCC including team communication, fundraising, recruitment and overall team morale. General Managers will be granted the same all-access privileges as players and will have the opportunity to see the benefits of their hard work in action on Game Day.

A GM is not a person who can do the work better than their team; a GM is someone who can take their team to the next level, both in fundraising and team organization! Let’s come together with The Princess Margaret and the Canadian Cancer Society to CONQUER CANCER!  If you know a great candidate for your team’s General Manager or would like more info, please contact the Road Hockey Office at 1.877.541.I’M IN (4646) or send us an email at [email protected] .
